Dulce Ortiz

Dulce Ortiz is an intern with the Office of Community Engagement. She is a sophomore at the University of Maryland in College Park, pursuing a major in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Cybersecurity. On campus, she is involved in the Latinx Student Union and La Voz Latina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and listening to music.

Through her upbringing, Dulce has developed a strong passion for helping and being a part of her community. With her strong determination to build those relationships, she connects with large audiences by coordinating events, networking, and advocating for new opportunities. She hopes to use her interests, as well as her major, to find unique ways to approach arising situations.
